Couldn't find them in Aberfoyle so I checked where Samuel Angel could be from, seemed likely to be Bonhill Dumbartonshire so I looked there. There were two Agnes Munro's of correct age but one had wrong parents leaving just this one :-
1861
Craigs Land, Main Street, Bonhill, Dunbartonshire, Scotland (no ref, just RG09)

James Munro Head Married Male 24 Lab Printfield Cromarty, Ross & Cromarty,
Mary Munro Wife Married Female 22 Balfron, Stirlingshire,
Agnes Munro Daughter Unmarried Female 0 1861 - Perthshire, Scotland

(Balfon is about 8 miles from Aberfoyle)

Haven't yet found her in 1871 and 1881 but this gives details of her parents.

1891 family still in Bonhill, at 272 Main St. There is another child, Murray Monro, daughter, age 10 born Bonhill.

James now 52, storeman in Dyeworks. Also he is James J Monro so looks like the Junnier comes from his side

Interesting, same address, 1901

272, Main Street, Bonhill, Dunbartonshire, Scotland

David Mck Junner Head Widower 36 Postman Bonhill, Dunbartonshire,
Alexander Junner Son 4 - Bonhill, Dunbartonshire,
Margaret Mck Junner Daughter 2 Bonhill, Dunbartonshire,
Murray Munro Servant Single 19 Housekeeper Bonhill, Dunbartonshire,

looks like there is some link here with the middle name Junner used by the Monro family.

Thanks Elaine.

Nothing has been found so far on James the soldier apart from this:

George Clement
Baptism Date: 10 Oct 1830
Parish: Salford, St Philip
Parish as it Appears: St Philips Church Manchester
Father: James Clement
Mother: Mary Clement
Item Number: 1
Archive Roll: 955
[Occ. Soldier]

Mary born abt 1822 but no baptism found so far.

Marriage for James & Mary Allison also not found.

On the Angel side the names are Clark and Nicol but stuck around 1800 in Scotland. And stuck about 1800 in Devon on Angel side. Can't be sure if Dow comes from either.
