Can't find anything for James Mudie but regarding the marriage you have between Philip Mudd/Frances Mary Hankin, I have found the following

Baptisms
Philip Mudd 4 february 1802 Barking, Suffolk parents Richard and Sarah
Frances Mary Hankin 8 June 1807 Cambridge St Edward parents James and Francis

Burials
Philip Mudd 16 December 1838 Chesterton aged 37 (1801)
Frances Mary Mudd 13 January 1839 Chesterton aged 34 (1807)

I can only find one child baptised to them

Mary Ann Mudd 3 July 1838 Chesterton.
