James Savage and Anne?

Hi Freinds

Could anyone please help with the marriage of James Savage And Anne, Their daughter Jane Savage was born at Bersham, Wrexham and baptised on 1 September 1791, I have searched the local parish records but no luck, Any help gratefully received,

I have just looked on the IGI for any James Savage marriages to Ann 1772-1792 but couldn't find any matches. Either they wed at a church that has not been indexed or they came from England. A James Savage wed an Ann Sleeter in 1773 in London. Never say never but that is unlikely to be your couple.

Have you searched any surrounding villages?

Hi Ben

I have looked in the records for the whole of Denbighshire and am planning a visit to Hawarden to look at Flintshire and then if no luck there I plan to go to Chester as Jane (bapt Bersham 1 Sept 1791) their daughter had a base born daughter Mary Savage(baptised at Wrexham, St Giles 9 Feb 1816) the alleged daughter was a Richard Stubbs of Chester. I have no other information about Richard Stubbs yet.

Thank you Ben for your kind help I will not dismiss the London marriage you found although I am told that the Savage family originaly came from Moreton Above, Ruabon, I have not researched if James was born there but he could have gone to London and then married there then returned to Bersham.
