james shelton 1861 lookup

#1
Hi there,

I am looking for the following family:

James Shelton born abt 1825/6 in Nottingham. He died in Fort Beaufort, Cape, South Africa in 1889. (Not sure when he emigrated)

His death notice shows his wife as Catherine, but when he died at age 63 he had one daughter as a minor. There was also two sons John and James.
I found a marriage for a James Shelton in 1851 in Nottingham but it is to a Mary Ann Woolley or Elizabeth Cresswell.
On the death notice is shows his wife as Catherine, so I think perhaps he was married twice.

Can anyone help me find him?

Regards
Jackie
