Qld. Marriage 1922/B31320 Sullivan James Bernard - Mellefont Sarah Jane Gladstone

Interesting how the Mellefonts were RC in 1700s then for political reasons became CofI in 1800s and how some of the descendants in Australia reverted to RC while others were CofE.

You can see the political aspect in lots of the middle names: Gladstone, Eldon, Peel, ...
Looks a possible..

Can't see a birth for either in Qld. index.

Those from Co Cork seem to be O'Sullivan in Trove.

Death 13 Mar 1944/C02264 Sullivan Lucy - Jeremiah Enright -

Can't see a death for Jeremiah in NSW or Qld.

Can't see a marriage for Jeremiah in NSW.

Don't know where Lucy was born.
Had a quick look at some trees, they are at odds with James and Lucy parents, especially James, they haven't found his death, so probably can't confirm his parents..

Thanks Geoff.

The Western Champion and General Advertiser for the Central-Western Districts (Barcaldine, Qld.) - Sat 5 Aug 1916 p.11
Mems. from Blackall.
Early on Tuesday morning last there passed away at his residence Mr. James Sullivan. The deceased had been a resident of Blackall for about 35 years, and was in business as bootmaker and storekeeper. The cause of death was chest complaint. His widow, four sons, and two daughters survive him.

The Brisbane Courier (Qld. : 1864 - 1933) Mon 27 Jun 1932 Page 15 SOCIAL.
Miss Lucy Enright (Spring Creek ) was
tendered a gift evening at Limeridge re-
cently, in honour of her approaching
marriage. The evening was convened by
Misses Mary O'Dea and C. Dwyer, and the
gifts were presented by Mr. K. Byrne.

It pays to take notice of the dates. That's a different Lucy Enright.

Nothing in Trove before 1924 searching for 'lucy enright'.
