Hi Dave,
I am researching my family history and hoping you can help. Rosina Prior is my GG Grandmother from her 3rd marriage to William McGregor. I have not been able to find information on the death of James William Wisdom Marsh during 1859 and 1869...have you had any luck?
Many thanks,
Holly

Thanks gibbo.

Assume he died before the 1869 marriage.

I didn't get an alert for your post gibbo so another problem with the site.

Not too much help, this is a discharge, more info on the admission pages, not found this one's admission yet. Liverpool not necessarily that far away if the only one in the area.

New South Wales, Australia, Hospital & Asylum Records, 1840-1913:
James Marsh
Admission or Discharge Date: 15 Apr 1861
Admission or Discharge Place: Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia
Ship: Own Request
Asylum: Liverpool Asylum for the Infirm and Destitute
[Image has it as a Discharge]

Geoff

EDIT: May not be him of course

Can't see a marriage or a death for Martha.

No death for a Martha * with parents james & ros* in NSW

Can't see a death for William.

Lots of possible marriages for William using middle initial H or not using it, as index has lots of errors with middle initials.

... second son of Mr. A. Wilcoxon, of Liverpool, to May, third daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. John Marsh, of Blayney.

Ok, several things don't fit. A very late marriage and 'May' and 'John' Marsh and third daughter.

Births
MARSH GERTRUDE ELIZABETH 9179/1873 JOHN MARTHA - CARCOAR
MARSH FLORENCE EMILY 9488/1875 JOHN MARTHA - CARCOAR
MARSH HERBERT JOHN 9825/1876 JOHN MARTHA - CARCOAR
MARSH MARTHA MAY 10746/1878 JOHN MARTHA - CARCOAR

Third daughter.

Yeah, not necessarily a lot of confidence in those marriages, couldn't see anything else at the time..

Found a couple of trees now, one has the 2x marriages. Neither has more than we already know for James W..
