MARRIED.
On August 9th, at Evans' Plains near Bathurst, by the Rev. J. B. Laughton, John Wallis of Bathurst (formerly of Arthurstown, Ireland,) to Jane, only daughter of the late William Carroll, of Bathurst.

OBITUARY.
The death occurred on Friday of Mrs. Wallis, of Comobella, age 78, wife of Mr. John Wallis, who has been successfully farming there for about twenty years. Deceased leaves, besides her husband, who is well over four score years, a son and a daughter, who reside on the farm. The funeral cortege left Comobella on the same day for the Wellington railway station, the burial taking place on Saturday in Bathurst, where the late Mrs. Wallis and her husband resided for many years prior to coming to the Wellington district. Mr. Jas. Thompson conducted the funeral arrangements here.
Don't know if Agnes is corect. There are 3x William CARROLL in NSW at that time.
Looking for Jane's parents deaths and for the arrival of the family. Probably from Ireland.
