Looking for a death for John and any details to fill the gap between 1851 and 1915 for Jane. It seems Elizabeth and James stayed in Scotland ?? I have them together in Cathcart in 1861. Nothing after that yet.

Thanks,

Hiya Dave a tree in Anx has the death of John Hutchinson aged 49 just after 1861 census, his wife Jane also 49 in 1859 Cathcart.
Jane arrived in Geelong 12.4.1853 and married Richard Perrins in 1865. The electoral rolls 1903-1914 have her in Geelong living on her own. Richard died 1886. Some trees are very hit and miss in Anx but this one looks very detailed. I'm impressed with it. Ozn :)

Thanks Ozn.

I hope the tree is accurate. If John died after the 1861 census then is he in the census or not because he is in hospital?

The death of Jane is no problem. I have a copy. 2 pm 20 Feb 1859.

I can't see a Jane Hutchison/Hutcheson arriving in Victoria in 1853 Assisted or Unassisted in PROV index.

??
arrival: Confiance
Origin: Liverpool 1852 Dec 8
Destination: Geelong 1853 Apr 13

Only the 1858 and 1860 arrivals of the 'Confiance' are in PROV index. Both those departed from a non-British port.

Try for 1891 thanks.

Wish more could be found for James COCHRANE & Jane WYLIE. All I have so far is their names in two death certificates. No birth/baptisms for any of the four known children.
