no dont have those names. I got the same names come up but not sure if its for the exact address or just an alphabetical list of names for Edinburgh in general! I think you'd have to type in Mather n go through all individually to find adddress! :(

I did that earlier, but none of them were living in Lothian Street! :eek:

There is an A Mather on Jamaica Street, Edinburgh in 1861. The reason I mention him is because he is living with an Agnes Fraser born 1808 Jedburgh and thought you had a Fraser with a Mather marriage? He is also born in Jedburgh and is 14 in the census. Above him at the same house is Jean Mather born Jedburgh 1807 Remember the census was in Spring and Jane died in November so plenty of time to move.

Just a possibility to keep in mind.

Thanks Josie lol how long did that take, there are loads of them ?

Barbara the Fraser Mather conection I have is John Fraser Ann Mather, sure I have them in Jamaica street at some point will need to look it out n see wat number it is!

It didn't take too long Alison, as I specified "Edinburgh" as exact. About six or seven pages showed up, so I just hovered over the "1861 Scotland Census" link and was able to view all the details without actually clicking on it!
