PS,

When you have clicked on the name scroll down to the batch number, click on the number and another search box will come up, just put in the surname and a list of people will come up who have been christened etc at that church, then click on the names and hopefully some will have the same parents.

thank you, this entry ties in with her mothers name of elizabeth, would it be possible with this information to find her parents and siblings on a census record, her mother was born in 1787 and jane was born in 1823 so there could be a few siblings born first. thank you once again

Hi Patrida,

I'll have a look, but what I forgot to put is that the entry is a submitted
entry which isnt always reliable, seeing that there is an actual christening date has the submitter taken this from the parish register?

Anyway will have a look, but bear in mind the siblings would probaly have left home.

Patrida,

Have you got Janes marriage certificate which will give the fathers name. There are a couple of Elizabeth and Williams Scotts in Northumberland but you will need to get Janes marriage certificate as you dont want to go down the wrong path.
