I was thinking as Janet Jnr was a french polisher in 81 she may have taken over from her mother.

Age and place fit but not pob. No occupation on previous census to match.

Need to find the French polisher in 1861, if there is one.

Also not sure if Janet junior is a daughter or grand daughter.

Don't know if you have them in 1851, Dave
They are at 7 North Woodside Road, St George's, Lanarkshire

they have children old enough to be Janet's parent. Marion born 1832 and Agnes 1835 but also still having children as they have a Charles born 1851. - Not a lot of help, am I . Can't find Janet's birth so only her death will tell you. Or her marriage if she marries.
