As Christiana's birth was registered June 1882 and Frederick and Mary Jane didn't marry until December 1882 it looks like Christiana was either adopted by Fredreick or took on his surname hence the Jarrett children being registered with mmn Elms and not Ridgen.

The image for the marriage definitely says Mary Jane.

Married as Rigden in 1901 and divorced as Rigden.

If the possible death you have given for Mary Jane Elms iin 1895 is correct that explains why I cannot find her in 1901.

Looking for the children I have found a Christiana Elms working aa a servant for a family called Davison in Great Chart, although pob is given as Brighton
RG13/784/F35/p14

Lilian is a servant for the Clayson family in Folkestone
RG13/847/F25/p41

Alfred is also living in Flokestone with Uncle and Aunt Frederick and Flora Ridgen
RG13/846/F158/p51

Can't see Grace or Mark.

No idea if it is connected but thought Jane Mary might have had a daughter Mary Jane.

I've looked at all the Mary Jane born Ashford 1852 - 1856 and checked mothers name on GRO and nothing fits.

Looks to be the right one in 1881 but can't find in 1871 or 1861.
