Arrived in Australia before 24 Jul 1842. ???

Either the pob is wrong or the census is wrong. Census is probably correct.

Now we have age at death, but probably still can't find a baptism or arrival.

We really needed father's occupation. Looks like too many James & Sarah in Warwickshire in 1841 even if restricted to Aston or Birmingham.

I can't find a tree.

Regards,

Dave

Mmmmm the Farmers :2fun::2fun: We've searched high and low for their arrival and it still cant be found

Even with it narrowed down within dates still no luck.

1841 uk census was 6th June 1841
They were in Australia by 24 July 1842.

That's right them again. :2fun:

I was hoping for age and pob not to be Birmingham and occupation for James. I didn't get all that. :D

A baptism in Sydney in 1842 and a birth in England in 1840 but daughter Emma not with them in 1841 census.

Baptisms solemnized in Parish of St Lawrence Sydney 1842
No 121
Baptised 24 July 1842
Born 15 May 1840
Emma - Edward & Jemima Farmer - Parramatta Street - Engineer

Emma's marriage has her pob as England.
