OBITUARY.
Mrs. Jemima Ferguson.
The death occurred at Rode-road, Nundah, at the residence of her son (Lieut.-Colonel G. A. Ferguson), of Mrs. Jemima Ferguson, widow of the Rev. James Ferguson, of the Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Ferguson, who was aged 92 years and 7 months, with her late husband, came to Queensland in 1870 from India, where the Rev. Ferguson was head of a Presbyterian ladies' theological seminary, and where he was also engaged for some time in practical missionary work. Coming to Queensland for health reasons, he again engaged in missionary work, and was stationed at Springsure and Harrisville, and other centres. His death occurred in 1875. Mrs. Ferguson had resided with her daughter, Miss E. K. Ferguson, at Lahore, Woody Point, for the past 10 years.
