MORRIS Jesse 21
MORRIS Alice 17

Origin Stanwick, Northamptonshire

Father is George and mother is Ann on death reg or Elizabeth according to a tree.

I'd like a look up please for Jesse in 1841. It's possible they are still in England for 1851 census.

Hi Dave

It looks a little complicated for 1841 so I've this portion of Page 1 of the image for you to ponder, details to follow..

1841 - It's one of those 'view others on the page' - the're in 2 bits as I found them...

RD: Thrapston
Sub-RD: Raunds
Civil Parish: Stanwick
Hundred: Higham Ferrers
County: Northamptonshire
ED: 3; Piece: 802; Book: 12; Folio: 9; Page: 12

John Morris [Jessie Morris] [Jesse Morris] 11
Thomas Cribbet 80
[Both b. Northamptonshire]

Then there is this, same ref and stats:

Beloy Morris [Betsy Morris] 30
Elice Morris [Alice Morris] 6
George Morris 10
[All b. Northamptonshire]

Thanks Geoff.

So it looks as though the tree is right and the informant wrong and mother is Elizabeth/Betsy.

Gardening tomorrow weather permitting. :)
