Looking at the image of the 1846 marriage Ellen's father could be I Wilson, rather than T Wilson.

In the 1851 Census she says she was born 1825 in North Mimms. Fs has a baptism 3 April 1825 in North Mimms for a Helen Wilson, parents Isaac and Sarah.

There is a baptism in North Mimms 1803 for an Isaac Wilson, parents George and Elizabeth and a death for an Isaac Wilson in Hatfield 1838 aged 37, which is only a couple of years out

Thanks Emeltee.

I took the 'T' from the transcription of the 1846 marriage.

Can't find a marriage to a Sarah Newman. Don't know who the informant was so no way of knowing how accurate 'Newman' might be.

Interesting names for daughters - Faith and Justice.

I can't see John Alfred in 1841.

This is interesting.. address on the image is 12 Baker St., same street as the 1851 census for John & Ellen.. Strange he's not on the census for 1851, unless he was in the infirmary.

Record Type: Burial
Birth Date: abt 1839
Death Date: abt 1851
