Without knowing John Brenchley's age and without any certainty that he came from the Faversham district, it is difficult to be certain on any identification in 1851. I can however see the following family

Address Bridge Place, Preston (Preston is part of Faversham)

John Brenchley, 37, Head, Dredger, Faversham Kent
Charlotte Brenchley, 34, Wife, Hastings Sussex
Harriet Brenchley, 7, Daur, Faversham
Elizabeth Brenchley, 5, Daur, Faversham
Charlotte Brenchley, 4, Daur, Faversham
John Brenchley, 3, Son, Preston
Sarah Brenchley, 2, Daur, Preston
Samuel Brenchley, 3M, Preston
Harriet Teunur?, 63, Mother in Law, Brede? Sussex

I see that a possible bride was a Charlotte Furner, was the name of mother in law a misspelling of that. Brede seems to tie in with your other posting on Furner. The ages of the children point to a marriage in the early 1840s.

Hello Robesur,

Thank you very much.

The post was a bit of a guess but I think the census answers the question I had.

Regards,

Dave
