Hi Dave,

I suspect we may have a distant connection in our research. I am investigating the Cairns family that hailed from Logie parish (1790-1853) but appear to have lived in neighbouring parishes including Alva and St Ninians.

I am interested in finding out more about distant relations. I can share information from the Cairns immigration to Victoria, Australia

The family mentioned in the shipping record ended up in Queensland. I have no branch of that family (yet) in Victoria in my tree.
