Seems only two children so Benjamin probably died around 1824. Margaret could have remarried although 1842 shipping record has her as a widow.

So where is she in 1841?

There is a death for a Benjamin Caldcott (sic) in Lancaster Asylum. Born 1786 buried 18 January 1823. That's the only one I can find. Can't see a birth but there is a birth in Liverpool for a Margaret Heron in 1788, parents Patrick and Margaret. No sign of the Thomas Heron who witnessed the marriage.

Was hoping Margaret and Emma were together in 1841 and even 1851.

When FS does decide to show results I can't find them.

No Mackie births on GRO 1844 - 1851 that look to fit.

I think I have Emma a widow in 1881 but can't find her in any previous census.
