Can someone point me to where I would find an 1801 birth record and also a marriage record prior to 1831. I have tried everything (free access) online just to try and find something. I have his info as of birth of two children in Sambourne (1831/34) and the birth of Philis Emma in Alcester 1835. Also have all the census info in Alcester after that. The only possible marriage I have found for a John Clarke and Mary Webb(from Long Marston as per 1861 census) in Worc or Warks is at Saint Bartholomew in Tardebigg 1822. I am also trying to find Mary Webb's 1801 birth info. They were living with Mary's sister Ann in Alcester 1861.

Hi Alannah :)
Civil Registration did not start until 1837.
You say you have birth details for 2 kiddies before this, do you mean baptisms??
Is John Clarke bn Feckenham in 1881 census aged 78yrs yours?
Living with son Edwin 52yrs bn Feckenham??

Added later, sorry wrong John, his wife is Ann in 1841 with young Edwin..
