help totally stuck trying to trace any relatives of John Edgar Johnson B1901
Melsonby North Yorkshire in 1920 he married a Grace Ann Crossman at Ferryhill Grace Ann was 49 years older than him. John Edgar spent a number of years in the Navy Grace Ann died in 1943 l have not been able to find a death record for John Edgar he could have also been know as Jack and might have possibly married again.
Thanks

Since the census end at 1901 for england until 2011, the only thing that might be of help that I can find is maybe his birth. there is one birth index for a John Edgar Johnson for sept 1901 - Yorkshire-north Riding north Yorkshire volumn 9 page 729 if this is correct you would at least get parents names, but of course you would be guessing unless you already know who they were. Sorry I can't help on any of the more recent infor. Joyce:(

Thanks for the reply thats the correct birth l have got the family back to 1790's its moving forward that is the main problem not able to find his death record l have not been able to trace any marriages or deaths of his step brothers and sisters. But have both his parents death records for 1930. Think l am just going to have to wait until 2011 very frustrating.
thanks
