Thanks for looking. There are several John Kelties.

John Keltie & Helen Arnot Virtue
Marriage: 19 April 1841 Alloa, Clackmannan

Unless they were in separate households on census night they should be together. John is a shipping clerk in Alloa in 1851, 1861 and 1871.

I'll check to see if the mason is also in my tree. No - but the address 'school wynd' seems familiar. But again that probably exists in many towns.

I would think they are in Alloa but with the name badly transcribed as in 1851 SHELLIE.

In the same street and nothing else stands out as being similar to KELTIE:

Piece: SCT1841/465 Place: Alloa -Clackmannanshire Enumeration District: 1
Civil Parish: Alloa Ecclesiastical Parish, Village or Island: East parish
Folio: 5 Page: 21
Address: Mill Street
Surname First name(s) *** Age Occupation Where Born Remarks
MCLEAN Alexander M 30 Gardener Outside Census County (1841)
Page: 5/22 GORDON Barbra F 30 Outside Census County (1841)
MCLEAN Hellen F 9 Outside Census County (1841)
MCLEAN Cathrine F 7 Outside Census County (1841)
MCLEAN Janet F 5 Outside Census County (1841)
MCLEAN Barbra F 9m Outside Census County (1841)
ARKLIE John M 20 Outside Census County (1841) Surname: uncertain, could be Arklee

But he was born in Alloa so even that one probably ruled out.
