Kate Kendall
Spouse Name: Dan Cummins
Marriage Place: Victoria
Year: 1889
Reg Place: Victoria
Reg Number: 756

John was born after the marriage so why would he be 'Jack Gregory Kendall' in the marriage?

Or it's a total error and coincidence his mother's name is Kendall.

Thanks Rupert.

Pity Kate's death notice does not have a location for Jack.

I don't see a birth for daughter Mary in NSW. Oh, post #6 Victoria.

Dave.

Very curious. He should be on the Nominal roll and the Embarkation roll and on NAA.

So what name did he use? There is no 'Jack' so should be John.

It says he enlisted in Victoria. I presume he didn't go to London and enlist there??
