CUMMINS.-On the 14th April, at Toogimbie Station, the wife of D. F. Cummins, Engineer, of a son. Both doing well.

Mr Jack Cummins, the only son of Mr & Mrs D. F. Cummins, of the Hay Water-works, has joined the Australian Expeditionary Forces, at Melbourne. Mr Jack Cummins, who is a native of Hay, was in the clerical staff of the Carlton Brewery, and has relinquished a good billet to go to the Front.

on Mother Kate's death 1943 has - She is survived by one son and four daughters, two of whom are in the United States.
so John/Jack was still alive and kicking in 1943
wonder if this is him popping over to see his sister Kathleen - she was a nursing sister who went over in 1931/32..and married in 1933.
