I have one John b. abt 1829 and another b. abt 1830 from two different families but both families living at 28 Wilson street, Largs in 1851. One was a weaver and no occupation shown for the other. Hmmmm ;)

Thanks for looking.

It's entirely possible several of those in 1841 census died before 1861. If they died before 1855 it's almost impossible to identify them even if a burial record can be found.

I was very lucky with one:

27/12/1839 MALCOLM ROBERT JNO MALCOLM M LARGS (AYR) /AYR 602/00 0040 0033

Died & buried in Largs 1839 Dec 27 Robert Son of Jn. Malcolm, Weaver, Nelson str.
