Whaplode Drove is not Spalding.

Whaplode Drove (A hamlet in Whaplode)

A Chapel of Ease was built in Whaplode Drove, some 8 miles south of Whaplode, and dedicated to St. John the Baptist in 1820.

Whaplode was part of the Holbeach sub-district of the Holbeach Registration District.
