His service record says he was born in Milton, NZ but that is wrong. His father Rev John Marshall was at Ulladulla on the south coast of NSW and I presume that's how he got his middle name, Milton.

If you enter Milton Sands in NLA you get hundreds of ads for his performances. No sign of the marriage in NLA.
