James Henry Mayhall born17/9/1866,Leeds,christened @St Peters ,Leeds 17/10/1866
in 1891 he is with his widowed mother @Grove Cottage,Woodlesford,Leeds and in 1901 living by own means
(where did he work?did he marry/children etc)when did he die)

Elizabeth (Mum) Widow living on own means and James is a Accountant as you have.

1901 James is at 91 Eastgate – Bramhope Yorkshire with his Mother 65, James is 34 also living on own means, brother John a Secretary to Factory Inspector and + a Gen servant.

Mother Elizabeth died Dec qtr 1905 Wharfedale Yorks.
And there is a Death for a James Henry Mayhall age 40 in March qtr Prestwick Lancashire.

The James Henry Mayhill b 1871 Leeds Lancs with Agnes as wife at Oldham Lancs on 1911 census is a cotton spinner and had been married for 17 years, so the death in 1907 could be yours.

Hello Val
Thanks for all the info,although I already had some of it I was never sure when his death occurred ,I know that he was an accountant a few years before he married Agnes.but he was declared bankrupt due to his very extravagant life style
