In 1871 John, age 55 & Hannah Morgan 47, were living at 23 Linen Hall Street, Chester with 5 children. There is a death of a John Morgan, age 56, registered in Chester Dec.1871, Volume 8a, Page 297. Could very well be him.
In 1881 Hannah 57 is a widow, living with son William and family at 35 Barnet Street, West Derby, Lancs. She is not with them in 1891 and I cannot see an obvious death in the area. She may have moved to live with another family member. Without tracing the history of all her children this would be difficult, but at least 3 children were still in Cheshire in 1881. There is a death recorded in the Chester district, Mar.1891, 8a, 304 of a Hannah Morgan, age 67.[/QUOTE
Thank you very much Robesur you have given me something to go on, and I'll look in to it.
