i am trying to find the marriage ( and the birth and death) of john paterson and helen something. i have john born in hamilton in 1801, but nothing on helen. their children's ( margaret b 1824, and sarah b 1821, both in hamilton)certs show different surnames for her.
ie.
mockerler, mechlan, michlan and mecklar.
if anyone can help/shed some light on this it would be of a great help.
