Hi Looking for info on the above John Pierce, County Clare, Ireland B1780
D.1839 and his son Edmund Pierce b. 1800 County Clare Ireland D 1873 In Australia, he married Bridget Griffin in Ireland, Edmund had three sons that I know of Patrick B abt 1840, Micheal, and John. Edmunds three sons came to Australia, when teenagers on Board the ship Black Eagle, arriving 1856, Edmund not with them on this ship, If you have any Irish County Clare,info on this family please contact me.

could these be yours :confused:
1/John Pierce born 1780=d= at Craganknock,County Clare 1839,=m=Honorah McDonnell:)Johns father is registered has Edmond Pierce,the only refrence to any birth of this Edmond that I can find is C/C 1760
if so have found 2/John in the tax ass -event 1833 at Monoduff in County Clare can be found in the Tithe Applotment Books 1814-1855 :)
3/Their son Edmond Pierce born Craganknock C/C 1800=d= Richmond ,Victoria,Australia1873,the only burial I can find is for a Edmond Pierce at Melbourne on 25 December 1873=m= Bridget Griffin born 1810 ,Ibrickan,Kilmurry,County Clare died Australia her father is listed has Patrick Griff(e)n born c 1780
then looking at the children of Edmond and Bridget
1/Patrick b 1840 C/C =m=Abigail Clark b1846 Galway=d 1922 2/Michael Pierce =b= C/C1842=d=Victoria Australia 1881arrival from port of Liverpool at Geelong in 1857 .3/John Pierce=b=Finnarmore ,Kilmurray C/C,=d=1900 Victoria ,Australia
