I think they listed the surname first then ditto'ed the rest of the family as John. It should have been John Pond, then ditto on the Pond

I've not viewed the shipping reel yet and death reg had no parents so it will be interesting to see if it says John & Sarah when I next get to the library.

Yes got me for a while. On the FreeBMD Entry Info there is a note that the expected range for Chard was 761 to 815 so it could not have been 201
