I should have mentioned that I have Denis in my tree.

I think there was one more born in that gap.

Forget that tree. :biggrin:

I find it impossible to believe the John who married in 1871 is the John born 1810. There is no birth/baptism record that I can find for the 1810 John or for siblings William and Margaret.

I believe this is the John born abt 1810:

Witness to the marriage of sister Margaret (born abt 1815) on 5 Jan 1832.

DOMESTIC INTELLIGENCE
Coroner's Inquests.
On Tuesday an Inquest was convened by Major Smeathman, Coroner for Sydney, at Sandwell's Rose and Crown Inn, Castlereagh-street, on the body of John Regan. It came out in evidence that the deceased was in the employ of Mr. Robert Cooper, and had been ill for some time past ; when being sent to the Hospital on Monday, he suddenly expired. Verdict, died by the visitation of God.
