NSW Marriage 7451/1890 STUART JOHN - CLARK LOUISA M J - WATERLOO

NSW Death 25389/1943 STUART LOUISA MARGARET JANE - WILLIAM - ANNE - ASHFIELD

Looking for the birth of John and Louisa and the death of John.

Thanks,

Dave

There is a tree that indicate Louisa's parents are: William Theodore M Clark 1851 – 1930 and Ann Dainer 1853 – 1939, not validated. They give a marriage date of 1871 and there is this...

William Clarke
Spouse: Annie Dainer
Marriage Date: 1871
Registration Place: Braidwood, New South Wales
Registration Year: 1871
Registration Number: 1871

I can't see a birth for Louisa Clark; she may have been born before they married..

8189/1871 DAINER LOUISA M ANNE BRAIDWOOD

The same tree has John's birth 1872 unknown, his death as 1852 and his father as, Albert Edward Hunter Stuart 1850 – 1913.

There is this death..

Albert E Stuart
Death Date: 1913
Father: David
Registration Year: 1913
Registration Place: Ryde, New South Wales
Registration Number: 13808

And this for John..

John Stuart
Death Date: 1928
Death Place: New South Wales
Father: Albert E
Registration Year: 1928
Registration Place: Ashfield, New South Wales
Registration Number: 12045

Geoff

Edit: An age at death for John would have been helpful..

All fits well, gibbo...

The informant may not have known much about his mother, he was only 7-8y when she died. That may account for his mother not being cited on his death reg.

Geoff im having problems with this passenger listing

STEWART Adam 28 Bann 1884 Sydney and family
STEWART Arthur 3 Bann 1884 Sydney and family
STEWART Elizabeth 34 Bann 1884 Sydney and husband
STEWART John 35 Bann 1884 Sydney and wife
STEWART John 13 Bann 1884 Sydney
STEWART John 28 Bann 1884 Sydney
STEWART Joseph 1 Bann 1884 Sydney and family
STEWART Margaret 27 Bann 1884 Sydney and family

I cant find the John aged 13 on the list  Im trying to eliminate him. The others seem to be from Scotland which is where John's father Albert was from so i was wondering if John come out here with relatives.

Yeah, having similar problems, just looking for John separately, but it looks as though his father at least, was in NSW (post #3)

So arrival would have been around 1885 give or take a year or 2.
