Martha Tredwell. buried 15 March 1862 @ Chesterton. aged 78. So a birth year of 1784 +/- a year or two.

So that cancels her out for the one baptised Greenford. Or does it.

I'll need to check Great Missenden PR's again.

John Tredwell was buried 12 Jan 1871, aged 85.

From OxFHS - Chesterton PR's.

I think I may have sorted what happened to Martha Honnor born Greenford.

Martha Honnor married George Woodbridge 14 Oct 1821 St Peter, Kent

Can't find them in 1841 but she appears in 1851 aged 55 as a lodger with a Thomas and Mary Weedon in Great Missenden. She is down as married but no sign of husband and occ. is given as Independent and pob Greenford

In 1861 she is in Hayes, Middlesex now a widow aged 65 as a visitor to a Thomas and Sophia Shackle occ. now Fundholder pob still Greenford

In 1871 aged 74 she back in Gt Missenden still a Fundholder born Greenford.
With her are Owen Taplin 39 son in law occ Lately a Farmer born West Drayton
Elizabeth Taplin 49 her daughter born Greenford
Sophia Woodbridge her unmarried sister in law aged 78 also born Greenford

She died 16 April 1769
Ref Martha WoodbridgeJune 1879 Amersham 3a 307 aged 83

Probate - estate under £100 Elizabeth Taplin (Widow) executor

Meanwhile I have found George Woodbridge in 1851 in West Horsley, Guildford. He is a farmer of 250 acres employing 15 labourers. With him are his unmarried sisters Ann and Sophia and his daughter Elizabeth all born Greenford

George dies 27 Dec 1860 aged 67
Ref is George Woodbridge Mar 1861 Guidford 2a 35
Estate under £1000 Owen Taplin, farmer, executor

Good, eh? Hope you managed to follow it all.

Just goes to show, how witnesses are important on certificates and parish registers.

Ellen Honnor Batt, is the daughter of Elizabeth Renshaw Honnor, and James Batt. (She married Edward Curteis).
Elizabeth Woodbridge is the daughter of Martha Honnor & George Woodbridge.
Ann Palmer Tillyer is the sister in law to James Tillyer.

Plus the Shackle connection.........

Elizabeth Ann Sophia Batt, married Thomas Shackle in 1862, and she died a few months later.:(

I think I worked that out correctly.?

Thanks again MLT.
