A tree has Elizabeth's death in 1836 in Preston.

A tree has John's death in Malta in 1848. Can that death be found?

Can the following one be ruled out by more than age being 2 years out?

I'd like a look up please for John in 1841 assuming Lancashire. Possibly both will be in Lancashire in 1841.

There is no John Watson around that age in the Preston area in 1841 as far as I can see but there is one in the Fylde area, he is given age 65 (actual 65-69), a Farmer who seems to have a possible wife Nancy age 50 (50-54) with him, they are in the parish of Harthorn with Newton which is adjacent to Poulton Le Fylde. I would guess that he was the burial in Poulton in 1848. Nancy was a widow in 1851.

There is though a 73 year old John Watson a lodger in Lytham on the 1851 census, no occupation, born Kirkham Lancs. Kirkham is between Preston and Lytham, I cannot identify this person on the 1841 census.

I quoted the one on 1751 just in case he was yours returned from Malta. Preston and Lytham are about 12 miles apart.

I cannot see the 1851 John in 1861 or a burial 1851-1861 but the death register did not give ages at that time and there must have been about 100 John Watson deaths in Lancashire during that period including 2 in Fylde and 5 in Preston districts. Both Kirkham and Lytham are in the Fylde district.
