I noticed in another post that James Swan Sands was part of the Boer War. Do you have any information about this?

This is all I've found so far.

Enlisted for Boer War - R/N 373 Private NSW Imperial Bushmen - 'F' Coy Lance Corporal 22 Apr 1901 - Queen's South Africa Medal & 5 clasps (CC OFS Tvl. Rhod. & SA01)

That effectively means he earned the medal 5 times so he fought in 5 campaigns. Would have to 'google' hoping to find info on 'NSW Imperial Bushmen - 'F' Coy' and where it fought.
