Hi all, I am looking for some information on Jonathan Beardsworth He was born in Chorley, Lancashire in 1829 and Married Elizabeth Platt on the 10 Apr 1853. The brides father was John Platt. I am looking for Jonathans parents and where is was born. Any information much appreciated. builder

Hi Dave, Is there any of these people visitors on the census. there is a lot of people with the same age. Or there are two families here.Jonathan was quite old when he had William,Builder

They all appear to be one family. There is a double line before Jonathan snr then nothing until a double line after William
It is obvious some age could be wrong, and above 13 have been rounded.

(James in 1851 is 24 or 26, favourite 24.)

Heapey is a village in Leyland, 2 miles NE of Chorley.

I agree parents ages are a worry!
