Mary Carr was baptised, 1731, Wymondham, Norfolk, to Jonathan Carr & Sarah.

The closest marriage I can find is 28 Jul 1720, Norwich. John Carr to Sarah Livick.

Can anyone else find a better match for a marriage please.

Thanks.

Images of the Archdeacons Transcripts for Wymondham are available to view on both fs and fmp. Unfortunately 1728-1730 are missing, so unless someone can look at the PRs for the missing years we'll never know if they married at Wymondham. They certainly didn't marry there between 1725, when the images start, upto the end of 1727.

They were very open minded in Norfolk in the 1700s - I have just found a marriage in Philmores between a Violet Sizeland and a Lyddia Tight which took place 21 November 1720 in Stanhow with Barwick.

I think Violet must be a Sizeland family name as there is also another marriage 2 January 1800 between Violet Sizeland and Margaret Yull.
