Joseph Buck Curtis

Hi there just wondered if anyone can help me out. My ancestor is called Joseph Buck Curtis born c1843 Mere, Wroughton, Wiltshire I can find him for sure on the later census but I need to find him on 1861 and back to find the rest of the family. I'm fairly certain he married Mary Ann Lush in 1864 ( Bristol ) but on this record on ancestry ( i haven't purchased a copy of the marriage certificate yet ) it lists his father as william curtis but i'm having no joy finding him on the census'. I can find a Joseph Curtis on the census also born Wiltshire but his parents are Luke and Martha and it doesn't have the buck on it just Joseph but on all the other census' his is noted as Joseph B Curtis.

Sorry for the long winded explanation. Heres hoping someone can help as this is driving me ( and my long suffering husband ) mad !!!!!!

Kindest Regards

Sarah Curtis
