Hello,

Starting with Joseph's death:

Death Reg# 6982/1898 LEWTON JOSEPH AARON ANN REDFERN

His parents are Aaron and Ann HODGES. He has an elder brother:

George Lewton - 13th August 1815 at Hanham Abbots
Son of Aaron & Ann of Grimsby Green
Fathers Occupation - Fish Hawker
Reg: 2a Page: 18 No: 114

and a sister Elizabeth:

Elizabeth LUTON - Aaron & Ann
b. 26 Aug 1818 c. 22 Sep 1818 Kingswood School-NC, Bitton, Gloucester, England

and from the funeral notice a younger brother James.

So far I can't find a baptism for Joseph or James.

The marriage of Aaron & Ann has not been found.

None of the family have been found in the 1841 census.

Regards,

Dave

Hello,

Mary PEACOCK b. 6 Jun 1824 c. 26 Sep 1824 Whitfields Tabernacle Independent, Kingswood By Bristol, Gloucester, England
Daniel & Ann - extracted IGI record.

1841
Civil parish Bitton
RD Keynsham
Sub RD Bitton
Daniel Peacock age 50 occ fish monger
Ann Peacock age 49
Isaac Peacock age 20 occ labourer
Mary Peacock age 14
Aaron Peacock age 12
Daniel Peacock age 10
Thomas Peacock age 8
William Peacock age 5
All born in county

Mary is not with the family in 1851.

Mary's age at death and age on shipping record do not agree with the birth record. There is this privately submitted IGI entry:

c. 13 Jul 1827 St Anne's Oldland, Gloucester, England

One possibly explanation is that Mary b. 1824 died young and a 2nd daughter was named Mary.

From age at death the birth date is about 1827 and with age at marriage the marriage date is about 1848. I've had no luck finding the marriage or the birth of a daughter.

Regards,

Dave
