Looking at Joseph’s father on 1871 census at age 56 b Kirbymoorside, a farmer and shows as married, (married Isabella Whitehead Dec qtr Scarborough 9d page 580)

Isabella and Joseph show on 1881 census for Wetherby (he’s a farmer)

Isabella Whitehead on 1841 census shows with parents Henry and Rachel Whitehead
Civil Parish:Appleton Le Street - Hundred: Ryedale - County/Island: Yorkshire – Reg District Malton, Piece 1262, Book 2, Folio 6 Page 6.

Joseph Maude a farmer age 71 with Isabella wife 52 and daug Rosa age 20 arrived Sydney 16 Dec 1886 from London on ship “Arabic”.

NSW death for Rosa Maude at Woollahra NSW with parents Joseph & Isabella
Also a Henry Maude 1936 Balmain NSW – same parents

This is curious. It's the only reference I can find for a vessel by that name from UK arriving Sydney late 1886.

Here is the actual image. I think you can just make out 'Maude' the second one after Quale. And it looks like 'bella do' then '..? do'
