I'm having great difficulty finding Joseph and his family in any of the Censuses. However FreeReg2 has the following entry

Joseph Page Moreton baptised Bilston 8th June 1823
Parents Abner and Elizabeth Moreton. Father's occupation Japanner.

Hope this helps.

Rachel was baptised 22 June 1851, father Joseph a roller and living on Temple St. Bilston.
I got the 1851 census for Temple St, Bilston on FMP and looked all along the street and did not find them !
There are 109 houses and lots of little courts so quite a few families but not this one. I noticed there were a few houses "unoccupied" and one , number 10, just had a few blank lines as if the enumerator was going to fill it in later.

Rachael married Thomas Blockley 9 May 1869 at the parish of Wednesfield Staffs, residence Marshend. Father given as Joseph Moreton, roller, so he was still alive but I can't find him in 1871 either. A mystery !

FreeReg2 lists the baptisms of several of Abner and Elizabeth's children. It also has Abner's burial in 1832 aged 53, Joseph Page's burial in 1863 aged 40 and poor little James Heeley Moreton died aged 8 weeks. Joseph and Mary's children are also listed. Certainly well worth a look. In fact it gives an address of Lea Brook, Westbury on the 1849 baptism of Mary Ann. I've also searched all the addresses in Lea Brook on the Census but no luck.

Found a possible marriage 29 May 1843 at St Thomas Dudley
Joseph Moreton to Mary Jeavons spinster.
son Joseph Jeavons Moreton buried 14 Jul 1844 St Leonard, Bilston age 11weeks.
Joseph Moreton buried 8 Nov 1863 age 40 at St Marys Bilston.

Did Joseph marry a 2nd time?

Looks as though daughter Mary bap 1849 dies in 1850 age 1 and is buried 3 Dec 1850 at St Mary Bilston, abode Wednesbury.

trying to find a joseph moreton married to a mary healy
I cannot find a marriage between Joseph and Mary and I've tried using different spellings. Do you have reference for the marriage?

I think the census posted by julie #8 is Joseph and Mary, when dau Mary was baptised their address was Lea Brook.

Is it possible this marriage posted by Trace #7 is the correct one, or areyou certain Joseph married a Mary Healey?

Found a possible marriage 29 May 1843 at St Thomas Dudley
Joseph Moreton to Mary Jeavons spinster.
I ask as wondering if you've got a wee bit confused as I think Mary Jeavons sister, Rachel, married a James Healey.

I also think it's possible Joseph and Mary's dau Rachel is with the Healey's in 1861. If so, the Healey's are mistranscribed, let me know if you want the census details.
