Not a query or anything but he is an ancestor of interest. He wed Susan Saward in 1728 at the Fleet prison, London. He was of Romford, Essex. He was said to be a bricklayer. Susan died and he remarried in 1745 to Martha Kelby, who was a widow. Her maiden name was Lavender. Joseph died in 1751 in Langdon Hills, Essex. He had children called Joseph, Robert, Mary and Martha with his 2 wives. I descend from Martha who married William Ingram in Leigh On Sea, Essex in 1765.
The name Stillington/Shillington is mainly found in the Leicestershire/Derbyshire and Yorkshire area as well as some in London.
I guess Joseph was born about 1705 if he first married in 1728. I did check Romford baptisms and could not find one. No age was given in his 1751 burial and no sign of any will. He may have been born in London, or came down from the Midlands. A William Stillington left a will in 1725 in Thrussington Leicestershire and mentions a son Timothy and a son Joseph but it seems this Joseph died in 1726 in Thrussington, as he left a will, and his brother Tim was a witness.
