Can't find a marriage, family tree's have it at 1851 Islington, London no sources. FMP has one 1849 Stepney, London. Looks like he may of been in jail in 1827 pending deportation.

No sure if this is the same fella or not. Maybe he did his time in the UK instead of been transported?? According to the newspaper article he was very happy to be transported so maybe they figured that was not going to be punishment :rolleyes:

Not listed as deceased and occ a bit odd. He is a carman in census. 1881 census with that address in post #2.
