Hello Ozn,

Posts to this topic or other topics of mine?

I deleted one topic because I asked for 1841 census look up and then found the family in shipping records and they originated in Ireland.

Thanks gibbo. ;)

How did you find that? :D

Joshua junior was born in London in 1829 so that means he travelled to Australia and back to England to marry and then back to Australia again.

He was in England in 1851:

1851
HO107 Piece 2373 Folio 137 Page 13
Civil Parish: Pickering
Registration District: Pickering
Sub District: Pickering
Enumeration District: 5C
Address: Burgate, Pickering
County: Yorkshire (North riding)
WINDLE, Joseph Head Unmarried M 49 1802 Master Grocer & Draper Fylingdales Yorkshire
MEAD, Elizabeth Sister Widow F 52 1799 House Keeper Fylingdales Yorkshire
WALKER, William Unmarried M 27 1824 Draper's Assistant Barugh Yorkshire
WALKER, Joshua Unmarried M 22 1829 Grocer's Assistant Farringdon Middlesex
ROBSON, John Aprentice Unmarried M 17 1834 Draper's Apprentice Helmsley Yorkshire
(many more serv and apps not listed)
So did he first go to Australia after 1851 and then back again to marry or to Australia before 1851 census and then back to England before 1851 census?
