Thank you very much. Son Joshua is the one I'm related to. He and his spouse ended up in Victoria in 1855 or 1856 soon after their marriage. I've not found them in shipping records yet but I think he is on the electoral roll in 1856 in Collingwood.

I've just found a marriage for Rebecca in Victoria. So, not only some WALKER but some of the HIRST family came to Australia.

IGI has this as his birth:

One of the WALKER descendants who lives in Queensland turns 92 on 3 October and I had a phone call from her yesterday. She was wishing happy birthday to another member of my family who turned 90 last week! Yeah, well my grandmother HAMILTON lived to 99. Damn, I wanted to see the telegram from the Queen. :2fun:
