Hi from Sydney, Australia. I'm a relatively new Family Historian, searching for Buchan, Duthie (Rathen, Aberdeenshire), McKechnie (South Australia), Jardine (Dumfriesshire originally, but from Cooma NSW), Sparks, Liddiard, Dellow, Jeffries, Nickolas (Sweden- a real conundrum!!- almost no info on marriage and death certs),Carlyle, Chapman, Ford, Cochrane. I'm sure I've missed some of the more distant ones, but these will do. I've been rather lucky as far as the Jardines go, a lovely woman has transcribed some articles from the Manaro Mercury; the website is Monaro Pioneers, it has an abundance of info on my family here in Aus, but I can't find the parents of William (Robert and Janet Carlyle, married c 1817), on the net , YET. I'm having a great time trying, and really enjoying reading through sites such as this one. Jude:biggrin:
