Good Morning,
my name is Kim and I live in a small village in Northamptonshire near Daventry. I am originally from Dagenham in Essex. I have been researching mine and my husband's tree for about 10 years. We have been keen canal boaters for over 30 years and one of the first discoveries I made was that my Husband's GGrandfather (and several more) had been canal boatmen on the Monkland Canal in Scotland, and he never knew.
My "big" thing at the moment, as I am Parish Clerk, is developing the village website. We have transcribed most of the bmd's, got copies of the Tithe map and lots more. I have loads of questions on copywright and data protection, so will be posting soon, hope someone can help.

Hello Kim,

welcome to FHUK.

Please have a look around the forums to see where to post your queries and someone will try to answer them, or point you in the right direction.

Regards,

Dave
