K R Kemp

I am trying to help someone find their birth mother - they thought my aunt may have been the right lady, but I don't think it adds up. What they have is information from an immigration document from England to Canada - the child went with both parents but the mother left and was never heard from again - it was believed she went back to England, but nothing is certain.

On the immigration form, as a contact for the child, there is listed :

Mr K R Kemp (grandfather)
22 Fountains Crescent
Southgate
London

The mother was listed as Julia Anne Kemp age 20 in 1967 when she gave birth to a baby boy names Isaac Kwesi Tandoh or Kemp - Feb 1967 at a Maternity Home in 11 Alexandra Park Road, Muswell Hill. The father was black - it was believed this may have been motivation to leave the uk with him due to it being frowned upon?

She was listed as a secretary and living at 47 St James Lane, Muswell Hill, Haringey.

If anyone can figure out the whos/whats/wheres, I'd love to hear from them.

Isaac Kwesi Tandoh was born Jan/Mar 1967 Haringey ref 5b 1272. His mother was named as Tandoh or Kemp

Julia Ann Kemp was born Oct/Dec 1946 Edmonton ref 5e 588 to parents Kenneth R Kemp and Sarah A Mclellan married Dec 1935 Leeds North ref 9b 803

Julia had a brother Anthony R born Jun 1944 Edmonton ref 3a 1599. Perhaps he may be found

Found a marriage for a Anthony R Kemp in 1971 at Haringey, London t Pamela Bailey and then found him in the electoral roll 2014 at Rainham with wife Pamela but aged 68 so age two years out. Can give more info if needed.
